"Gigabyte" The personal ship of Cypher.A prototype ship filled with some of the best built Geth offered. Cypher had been within his 'chambers' for a while. Being upgraded with combat software, learning how to deal with combat both on the ground and in space. He was armed with a basic rifle, he was satisfied with it. The ship was launched swiftly, for the Geth are machines and can quickly process launching procedures and thus began his mission, to scout out the unknown space.
They approached the Mass Relay station."Approaching the Mass Relay station" said one of the crew members, his voice very robotic and only can be understood by other Geth. Cypher nodded as they approached the Mass Relay station.
"Plot a course for the Local Cluster" It was a simple order, the crew obeyed. A few minutes later they entered and were soon launched, a normal procedure yet something went wrong, they were not in the local Cluster...they were somewhere else.

OOC: OK based on how I just finished Mass Effect 2, I am going to go ahead and modify the crew of the normandy and such to current events. So... Expect that. Also, we need to get this along plot wise, get it interesting finally... Uhhh and not sure what to post except this.
Shepherd glanced around the room, nodding to Joker then returning his attention to Velius. "Well sadly, i'd rather not show you the actual technology, maybe another time. We use a complicated technology using a field called mass effect fields. We don't have a 'hyperdrive' as you call it, but we have a FTL drive... And we use the mass relayes to go between differant solar systems..."

"Of course, of course," Velius replied. "I understand. perhaps another time, once we've become better acquainted. Now, I must return to my flagship and reorganize my fleet. Pilot... eh, Joker, was it? I really do hope that is a nickname or a callsign. No offense. Please take us towards the Velius, the largest of the ships in the Olarian fleet. They'll send you docking instructions. After my Apprentice and I are back on our ship, you are welcome to accompany us, take your ship down to the surface--we'll send you coordinates for a hangar if you do-- or you can simply leave."
~~~
((I think I'm just going to make Dak an NPC.... <.< Well, he couldn't do much anyhow! Everything is mostly in space now...))
Aaron glanced at the coordinates on his screen showing where the Urandi's rally point was. It was on the other side of the galaxy, and it would take them a couple of hours to get there, even with the ZPM powering the ship.
"Take us to Altera, we'll pick up some more firepower from the fleet and make our way to the Rally point.
The Redundant's engines glowed more vibrantly as the ship turned towards a system that could not be seen from this distance, and hurtled towards it. Then the Hyperspace window appeared, and the ship vanished into it.
~~~
Tessek, still in the Gateship repairing his droid, looked out of the hangar's forcefield and saw that the larger Urandi ship was moving. All the Urandi ships were moving. He reactivated the comm-- and then heard the most surprising, most unexpected voice.
"This is Admiral Kar'lav of the Imperial Recon Star Destroyer Carnage. We require an immediate surrender from all parties. Prepare to be boarded."
Kriff. The Imperials had finally tracked him down. How long ago had he left? Months? Oh, right, time is relative. It was a few months for me, but probably only hours for them. Interesting.
He listened to the rest of the conversation as he repaired his droid body, and then realized that they were about to enter their portal-thing. Great.
Then the Darkness was all around him. If this was how their entire Universe was, he wasn't sure he wanted to ever go there.
Then it was gone, and they were back in realspace. He really wished his transmitter wasn't damaged, so he could talk to the leader--oh, it just came back online...
"Fleet Admiral, remember me? The guy who led you to the Harbingers? Well, I'm still here in your hangar. Had a little fight with the Harbinger's boss before he ran off, but I'm still alive. And my ship doesn't have interstellar capabilities, so--"
Then another voice cut into the comm channel. How many times could that happen in one day?
"This is General Salut of the New Clone Army. Please identify yourselves and state your business in this system."
What? There was no way the NCA could have found them so fast, unless...
Unless the Urandi had actually gone to the NCA. He hobbled over to the Gateship's cockpit, punched a few controls, and the computer began analyzing the view of the stars directly outside the Urandi ship's hangar forcefield. They identified the system rather quickly. It was the system that he'd transported Kamino to. Or rather, just outside the system. The Urandi had been planning to attack the Harbingers, and the Harbingers had already had a little fight with the NCA. Or, at least, with one ARC-170. That had to mean that the Urandi had tried to get close enough to the Harbingers... And the Harbingers were rather close to the NCA, meaning the Urandi were close to the NCA.
Confusing, even to Tessek's mind.
~~~
"This is General Salut of the New Clone Army. Please identify yourselves and state your business in this system," Daleb said into the his personal comm, the signal of which was being amplified by the ship's system and being transmitted to the fleet of green ships he could see in the distance. In the Force, they felt very... dark. Moments ago, X had told them they were almost just as dark as the other Dark Beings, the Harbingers, and their ships were almost of the exact same design. The only difference was that these ships were green.
Daleb could only guess at how powerful the fleet was, but if they needed to, his own fleet could handle themselves. He hoped. They'd brought a fraction of the NCA fleet, six Venator-class Star Destroyers, four Acclamator-class Assault ships, and five Corellian Blockade Runners. The Venators and Acclamators had been made at the Kaminoan spaceyards, and had been upgraded to the current level of technology, though even if they were still Clone Wars-era, it would still be a powerful force. Not to mention that all the starfighters were similarly upgraded. At least, the older Clone-Wars era fighters, such as the ARC-170's, the V-wings, the V-19's, and the ETA-2 Interceptors. There were several other squadrons in the NCA fleet that weren't made up of Republic-era fighters.
Several Rebellion squadrons had come over after the NCA had formed an alliance with the Alliance. A few Y-wing Squadrons, six X-wing Squadrons, and two A-wing Squadrons. The NCA had sent an equal force over to the Rebellion. And then there were the few defectors, two non-clone TIE fighter squadrons, and one old clone-piloted TIE Interceptor Squadron. The Clone TIE interceptors were one of the best fighter squadrons out there, but had hated being forced to do the Empire's dirtywork, so came over to their old brothers. Their Interceptors had been upgraded with shields and hyperdrives, at the cost of some of their speed. X personally led that squadron from his own captured Interceptor. He preferred it over his Recon-ARC and his other various craft, despite the dark, cramped cockpit.
All of these thoughts were going through Daleb's ever-calculating mind, comparing the strengths and weakness of his fleet's to the not-so-well-known strengths of the enemy fleet. But X had only been up against the fighters, not the larger ships. He had no idea how a battle would turn out. He just hoped it wouldn't at all.
Shepard nodded then glanced at Joker. "Bring us in fast on that ship. See if our airlocks are compatible. Once done, drop off our guests here and let's head out into space. We'll just explore the system the probably return." He turned and began walking down the corridor to the CIC.
OOC: Ok so you know, this is actually the SR2 Normandy, not SR1. And instead of Liara who is Shepard's GF, it is Tali, the quarian. Changing the scheme of things from ME1 to ME2. Heh will be confusing at first but it'll adjust.
---------------------------------------------
Nalar keyed the comm, looking up at the viewport. "Yes it seems so. We appreciate your assistance in getting us here. We'll get you back when we can but currently, I have to deal with these 'NCA' and prepare for the Harbingers. They are nearby, I can feel it...." He shut off the comm channel then brought up another one. "This is Fleet Admiral Nalar Queyan of the Urandi Republic. We are here to assist you againest those known as the Harbingers. They are similar to us but very aggressive.... I hope that wasn't too sudden of a explanation." He chuckled.
---------------------------------------------
In a nearby shadow of a random planet, the Harbinger fleet was readying itself to launch itself on it's foes. Consisting of around four dozen vessels, it was a decent sized attack fleet. It mostly consisted of frigates and cruisers, but it did have a few destroyers. It was ready to pounce on the NCA, Urandi and anyone else who would get in the way.
OOC: Ya I'm slightly confused and tired so short post tonight... Your lucky I posted at all haha.
Daleb listened to the quick explanation that came across the comm, in the form of a thickly-accented Basic. He couldn't identify the accent at all. He reached out, trying to identify the speaker... There he was. He was still unfamiliar with their bizarre Force presence, but it was vaguely human-like... Just incredibly... Dark. Not evil-Dark, just Dark. It reminded him of a twisted version of a Jedi Shadow. But it didn't seem to have any hint of deception in it. "I'm afraid it may have been a bit too quick. How am I supposed to know if you're lying, and are just a different group of these Harbingers, and you just like a different color? How do I know you won't suddenly invade this system, or attack my Fleet?" He sighed. "But, I don't sense any deception from you. Of course, not having encountered your species before, I could be wrong. There is a planet below us, and my sensors have determined it is habitable. Send a team down to the surface if you wish to discuss this matter further. There is a lone island just north of the main continent. I'll be waiting there." Without waiting for a response, he gave the comm officer the signal to cut the connection, then he reconnected to the NCA's freq. "X, take your interceptor squadron down and make sure it's secure Pick a couple ARC-170 squadrons to patrol the area too. I'll be down in a Larty in a few minutes." "Roger, heading out. Blue Squadron, Hawk Squadron, follow our lead." ((Larty is clone slang for LAAT )) ~~~ Once Darth Velius, Darth Verelor, and Molaarl were back onboard the Velius, They all headed to the Bridge of the ship, Velius half-listening to the lieutenant walking next to them droning on about the technical problems with the Superlaser. Once at the bridge, they listened to Valrak's equally boring and self-praising battle report. Molaarl only lasted about five minutes before his infamous Wookiee patience gave and he headed for the Mess hall. Finally, after the report, Velius led Verelor to the debriefing room. "So... What happened out there? Where's your Stealthfighter?" he asked. She hesitated a few moments before answering. "I wound up fighting Tandrex himself, and had to activate the fighter's self-destruct to prevent him from getting his hands on the cloaking tech. Then he invited me to dinner," she said, finishing the last part dryly. "Then a bunch of mini-Tandrexes came and killed him." "...Mini-Tandrexes?" Velius questioned, confused. "Yeah, I'm not sure if he was their father, or uncle, or he was the father of their uncle twice-removed." She shrugged. "They weren't exactly handing out information in that subject. The leader of the bunch seemed slightly sad as the Troopers hauled his corpse out of the room, so I'm just assuming they're related to him somehow." "What makes you think that these minions are related to each other in the first place?" "Well, they told me. The leader said they were almost siblings, or cousins. It was odd." "....Interesting..." "Oh, and I almost forgot. There was a Quarren with no Force presence fighting Tandrex. And one hell of a fight it was, he had a lightsaber--red-- and a vibrosword, one in each hand. He also hovered in midair, and survived in the vacuum of space. I tried to capture him to bring back here, but he had his own cloaked ship, one that could still use its engines while cloaked. I didn't actually see it, but it had to be at least bigger then my Stealthfighter, because as it escaped through the small gap between the hangar floor and partially-open door, sparks flew from two spots on the floor and one on the bottom of the hangar door, suggesting three wing-like shapes. After that, I didn't encounter it again." Velius said nothing for a minute, deep in thought. "Well, from what you said, it would have to be a droid of some sort..." "Yeah, that's what I thought too. But it didn't... behave like a droid. It seemed sentient." "Perhaps a sentient remote-controlling a droid of some sort?" "Maybe, but we don't have anything like that capable of having such lightning-fast movements and reactions. Anything like that would have a considerable delay between commands given and the actual reaction." "Perhaps whatever--or whoever-- it was had more advanced technology then we do. Given all the things we've encountered today, I'd say it's possible." ~~~ ((I'm not sure if I'm gonna take control of the entire Utir Alliance permanently, but I'm at least going to take over their defense fleet temporarily The Utir are rather small in size, but their tech level is about Star Wars Legacy-era-ish. The guy's name is pronounced Ron Line )) Commander Ronn Lighn of the Utir Alliance Defense Fleet stood at the bridge of his flaship, the Star Commander-class Firewind. The darkened room was lit only by the aqua-blue glow from the computer consoles. The Star Commander class ships were the biggest ships in the Utir Alliance, about 1,700 meters long, and shaped like a perfectly-smooth rounded ellipse. It was covered in naquadah armor, making it extremely durable, and it looked like a giant obsidian rock, with many aqua-blue glows emanating from the exterior viewports all over the ship. To either side of the ship were four more ships, the exact same design and color of the Firewind, but far smaller, only five-hundred meters long. Two on each side, the smaller Star Defender-class antifighter ships were made to keep smaller pirate fighters and bombers away from the shields of the massive Star Commander. There were no visible engines, unlike primitive combustion engines that had massive glowing exhaust ports sticking out of the back of the ship, spewing fire into the void, these ships all used internal Impulselift drives. In the hangar of the Firewind, sat hundreds of fighters and bombers, also obsidian-colored ellipses, but much smaller. The fighters were only three meters long, with small fin-like wings projecting from the sides, and two laser cannons that could be retracted at the front. The bombers were exact duplicates, but were seven meters long, and could hold three people instead of the fighters' one. Their laser cannons were more powerful, and the bottom of the craft could launch proton bombs, but it was much slower. The ships were all very powerful looking, meant to inspire hope to the people of the Utir cluster, and fear to the pirates that plagued it. But Ronn thought that they could've at least made the ships' designs a bit different. Sure, they looked cool, obsidian and aqua-colored, but still. The people of the Utir cluster knew that life existed outside of their cluster. They had avoided meeting anyone from that far away, but were always prepared for an invasion fleet of some type. But as Commander Lighn looked at the huge green portal-looking thing, and the blue-green fleet of ships around it, he wasn't sure how they would be able to defend themselves if the aliens decided to invade their precious cluster of stars and planets. There could be an unlimited supply of ships on the other side of that portal thing. He decided it was time to initiate contact with the alien force. He deactivated the fleet's sensor cloak, and brought up the comms system. He cleared his throat. "Alien Force, this is Commander Ronn Lighn of the Utir Alliance Defense Fleet. Please state your business in this sector of the galaxy." He hoped he didn't sound as nervous as he thought he did. ((I know most of teh Urandi ships are on teh other side of teh galaxy, but there's still a little defense force by the portal, amirite? ))
Aizan watched the twin devilfish bombers as they soared through space on the cruiser's starboard side. The wirewolf was on a Tau cruiser specifically, their hunter cadre running escort for two devilfish bombers on a mission to bombard some far away planet into compliance. In the name of the greater good. Aizan didn't buy into the concept, but it wasn't his call to make. As he watched the elegant bombers through the heavy, near impenetrable plate of glass, the dull gleam of another ship's gunmetal grey nagged at the peripheral of his vision. But while his vision may have missed it, the cruiser's radar had not, and alert sirens and lights flared throughout the ship as it changed course to head right towards the danger. Aizan promptly decided that the windows facing the cruisers were nota good place to stand and decided to move back to the command deck for further intelligence and instruction. As he briskly strode down the hallway, claws pinging on the floor, he had an inexplicable instinct to run for the airlock in front of him. He followed said preserving instinct a second before explosions rocked the ship, breaking the long panoramic window behind him. Oxygen flooded out of the section of the cruiser with a wheezing sound, and Aizan fought to wrench open the door and slip through. Claws scratched long furrows in the steel floor as they dug in, before he finally managed to slip inside and seal the door. Now panting from the sudden exertion, Aizan started to hurriedly run towards the command deck before anything else could go wrong. The loudspeakers crackled twice, and the wirewolf swore as he realized that something critical to it's function had been damaged in the blast. Whatever message the Tau had sought to convey, he wasn't getting it.
Just as he started to catch his breath again, the wirewolf was thrown violently against the wall as the ship lurched into hyperspace, dazed, he glared at the monitor in front of him until he felt the invisible force holding him to the wall relax. When he did finally reach the captain, he found the Tau extremely distraught as he poured over starcharts, quickly throwing them off his desk as each proved useless. "Er, what is it?" Aizan ventured to ask the first mate who was standing beside, deep in contemplation, brow furrowed. "We just made a random jump into hyperspace, and now we're lost somewhere s'all."
Such matters did not concern the wirewolf, for he was only along in the event the Tau needed a diplomat. Standing at 5' flat, he was a smaller creature, draped over with black fur that slowly tinged to red at the tips, a common quirk of his species. For all intensive purposes, he looked similar to a bipedal wolf, though one that was far more articulate and intelligent.
Aizan shrugged his furry shoulders and was immediately pulled off his feet by another unseen force. Now it was the captain's turn to swear while the crew tried to regain their footing. Every eye turned to the view screen as they saw a giant vast emptiness before them. "Black hole!" someone screamed obviously as the ship picked up speed toward it, and the crew scrambled. "The engines are shot, Captain!" Another crew mate yelled from below deck. By then the ship was practically inside the black hole completely. The cruiser collided with a few pieces of space debris that screeched eerily on the side of the ship as they drifted closer to the center. Then, with a sudden jerk the ship was pulled in completely, and the entire hunter cadre was gone.
There was a rushing, whisking sensation that gradually slowed as they were spat out of the blackhole... into Lord knows where. The ship was tense and quiet for a long moment as everyone took inventory, eyes slowly turning towards the Tau captain for orders.
He closed his eyes and rubbed his head with his hand irritably. He was new, just promoted. This type of thing wasn't supposed to happen. Didn't happen. Until now. He threw up his hands and yelled. "Everybody panic!"
Aizan facepawed.
OoC// There you go. =3
Nalar shook his head in annoyance, shutting off the COM channel. Standing, he motioned and began moving down the corridors down to the battle-torn hanger bay to a awaiting squadron of fighters and a shuttle, as well as a squad of troopers. Checking his own battle gear, he nodded to the squad and walked up the ramp, followed quickly by his troops.
Within several minutes, the shuttle and squadron was soaring through the sky towards the ground below, where the beacon was placed. Within a few more minutes, they landed in a empty clearing. Exiting the shuttle, the squadron continued to soar through the airspace while the ground team secured the area for several hundred meters.
They waited...
-------------------------------------------------------
Back at the original portal, the rest of the battle fleet had organized into a well defended positioning around the portal, with many in a ring like a asteroid belt while others surrounded it in a sphere. Leading it was the Legion Captain Zerana, sitting aboard her destroyer.
When the alien forces suddenly came into contact, she sat forward and eyed the scanner's info on this new group of people. Interesting... "This is Legion Captain Zerana of the Urandi Republic. We are here to assist in the preservation of peace in most all universes from the Harbinger Empire. To keep a safety factor, stay at your current heading but lower speed to 1/4 of what you have currently... Now, explain your reasoning in approaching us, other then us happening to have appeared in your 'sector' as you call it..."
OOC: Short and pathetic. I'm a little tired and my neck hurts so not in mood for huge details haha!
Commander Lighn raised his eyebrow, somewhat surprised that the aliens could speak Utiri Basic, albeit with some strange accent that he'd not heard before. He turned to the helmsman. "Stay current course, slow to one-fourth of current speed," he ordered. The helmsman, an orange-skinned Fearri, nodded, and the ship began decelerating.
"We've approached because we detected that... thing, that portal, very close to our cluster of planets. And any potential threat to Utiri security must be investigated. Simply put, I'm here because I'm concerned for the people back home in the nearby cluster of stars. Now, tell me why you're here, to defend us against the, what did you call them? Harbingers? I'm pretty sure we can defend ourselves if we must. We have never encountered beings from out of our cluster, such as you, but we've been prepared to defend ourselves for decades."
~~~
Daleb stepped out of the Larty in the clearing they'd set down in, followed by several Shock Troopers and a squad of Clone Commandos, who fanned to secure the area. As they filed out, an ARC-170 and a TIE Interceptor set down. X, in his usual all-white Commando suit, popped the top hatch and jumped out of the TIE. The ARC-170's hatches all popped open simultaneously, and the Clone Pilots hopped out. Daleb could hear the thrum of more ARC-170 engines flying low to the ground all around, and the scream of TIE engines circling higher above.
And he stared at the strange thing that had led them to choose this clearing.
In the center of the patch of grass, was a large ring, with seven dimly-glowing triangle-things evenly placed around it. There were strange symbols all around the thing, too.
"All clear, General," came a clone voice over his earpiece comm.
"Alright, get out here," Daleb said.
Two scientists who looked decidedly silly in their heavy expedition gear jumped/fell out of the LAAT's open side hatch, and then eagerly scrambled up and to the ring, and begun scanning it.
"Any idea what it is?" Daleb asked, strolling over to stand at the front of it. X joined them, looking closely at the strange symbols all over the ring.
One of the scientists, a tubby human male, frowned at his scanning device. "Well, General, it's obviously not natural, and appears to be some sort of... superconductor. My guess is that it's some sort of power generator, long ago used to power some sort of advanced people's city or something."
"Hmm," Daleb responded, running his hand over the symbols.
And then he sensed something....
"Uh, sir, power levels are beginning to ri--"
He stopped as one one of the symbols began glowing, and the ring emitted an electronic locking-sounding noise. X, who had been closely looking at that very symbol, jumped back, raising his arms. "I didn't do it!" he shouted.
Another symbol glowed on the other side of the ring, and the noise sounded again. And another. And another. Three more.
By this time, X, Daleb, and the scientists had all backed away.
The triangle-things glowed brighter, and with a whoosh, a huge blue watery-thing shot out of the ring. It seemed to hover there for a split second, then shot back into the ring, leaving a huge blue puddle of something that looked like glowing water.
All blasters were pointed at the thing when a burst of some sort of alien language burst onto the comm channel. One of the Commandos' voices, distinguishable from the other clones as most commandos developed differently and uniquely, came across after the weird noise stopped. "That's... Sir, that's an Imperial Encryption code. One we cracked just a month ago."
Daleb stared at the thing. An Imperial encrypted code? "Decrypt it," he said.
"On it... One sec... There."
And a gravelly Mon Calamari voice came through, speaking the Quarren language. A Quarren, speaking the same language, answered, and they had a short conversation. Daleb could recognize only a few words of the language. He heard 'Doctor,' 'fool,' 'strange,' and 'readings'.
But there was one word, a name, that he didn't need to have translated: Hesh.
"The squid!" X shouted.
Stang. That explained a lot.
~~~
Tessek watched the Urandi shuttle leave the hangar, ignoring him and his parked gateship completely. Seconds after it left, the address for the Showa Outpost began glowing on the Gateship's dialing device. What?
Oh, no. There was a gate on the planet. He hadn't realized that. And knowing that Jedi General, he would go straight to it, intrigued by it's--
"Doctor Hesh, this is Cimrab, come in," said a gravelly Mon Calamari voice in the Quarren language.
"No, you fool! The NCA is right next to the gate! There's no way they'll miss this transmission!"
"The NCA...? Oh... My apologies, Doctor--"
"No! Don't say my name again!" Tessek sighed. "Well, they already must have decrypted this code. Might as well tell me what you have. But be.... vague.
"...Yes... sir. We, uh, detected another... anomaly. One that we did not... plan."
That didn't sound good. Not good at all.
"You mean, an.... object?" he asked.
"Yes. Several... meters away from... The... ancient city."
"And it didn't come from the... superthing?" he said, rather annoyed by the vague-talk. But it was necessary.
"No, not quite that close. Farther."
"Great, more. Just what we needed. I'm on my way. Is the..." he paused. "the drive repaired?"
"Not quite, but it will be done in approximately... thirteen standard minutes. And couldn't you just disconnect...?"
"I could, but I'm bored. Doctor H--... Doctor, out."
And with that, the symbols on the dialing device stopped glowing, and the transmission cut off. He had to get to the gate, but there was no way to get the Gateship through without the NCA down there noticing. Though it would be invisible from their eyes and sensors, it was certainly not silent in atmosphere, especially when it would be that close to the clones.
He began formulating a plan while with one hand, he finished the repairs on his droid leg, and started the power-up sequence for the Gateship.
~~~
Tessek pressed the hatch release at the back of the gateship, and the rear hatch began slowly opening, revealing the dark, murky blue water of the planet's ocean, held at bay by a shimmering force field. He'd chosen this particular place because of that murk. Unlike the rest of the planet, the area surrounding the Stargate's island was murky enough to hide something in, provided it was several meters under the water. And the gateship was.
Without further hesitation, he lept out of the ship through the forcefield. The water would be perfect temperature for a Quarren, and it made him wish that he was here in person, not controlling a droid. Pushing that thought away, He activated his repulsorlifts, sending him hurtling towards the surface of the water.
He broke the surface, continued his upward motion for a few moments, then changed his course towards the sandy beach of the island, half a kilometer away. When he reached it, he shut down the repulsorlifts, hit the sand, rolled, and then he was past the treeline, inside a bush. The NCA's frequency-- which he'd been monitoring ever since he'd entered the atmosphere-- showed no suspicion suggesting they'd noticed him. Good.
He crept forward silently for another two minutes, and then he could see into the clearing. The slow-moving Urandi shuttle wasn't there yet, but there was an ARC-170, a TIE Interceptor, and a LAAT gunship. He'd always admired those things. Very capable craft.
And there was the Jedi general, and his sidekick, X, the Jedi-Clone Commando, standing near the gate, but keeping some distance between it. The two scientists closer to the thing were obviously nervous, and being extra-careful to stay behind it or to it's sides. And there were a few clone Pilots near the ARC-170, conversing with two Clone Commandos in their hideously-custom-painted Katarn armor, two more talking with X and Daleb, also in customized armor, and several Shock Troopers strolling around, ever alert.
Quite a challenge.
He activated the droid's hard-light holoprojector, turning himself into a Shock Trooper, and concealing his sword. One of his two pistols he kept in it's hip holster, and the other he converted into a DC-15 blaster carbine. Waiting until nobody was looking, he strolled out into the clearing, and marched purposefully towards the Gate. He made it past Salut and his gang without incident, though his 360-degree vision could tell that X kept glancing over at him. He was probably wondering why he couldn't sense this particular clone, and why he wasn't showing up on his HUD.
There was no Dialing Device here, so Tessek extended his arm and put his hand on the Gate, ignoring the questions from the scientists. And then X got it.
Tessek dropped the holoprojector's false Shocktrooper image as he whipped out his sword to parry away the attack of X's dual lightsabers. Behind him, the Gate began its dialing sequence. A moment after X's sudden attack, Daleb lept to assist the Clone, while the Shocktroopers and Clone Commandos all raised their blasters. But they didn't shoot, not wanting to risk hitting their precious general or his minion.
The fight was going rather poorly for Tessek. He couldn't dodge, parry, or block all four blades that the Jedi brought to bear on him. X's two lightsabers were attacking at different directions at the same time, while Salut's doublebladed saber kept swinging at him from unexpected angles. And then the Gate activated.
All three of the fighters lept away simultaneously to avoid the unstable vortex of the Stargate. The clone shock troopers and commandos behind him finally opened fire on him. Blaster bolt after blaster bolt pelted his droid body, but he was still able to drop a stun grenade and dive into the event horizon of the Gate.
He slammed to the floor of the Showa outpost, sliding on his back, both blaster pistols aimed at the active gate-- green on this side, as it was in the Vegrandis galaxy. But nothing charged through after him, and the gate shut down. He finally disconnected from the droid, and then sighed in relief.
He turned to the aide who dutifully stood next to him. "Someone get a repair crew to pick up that droid."
((Holy crap, super-long post. And you still have quite a ways to the bottom. xD))

Just minutes later, Tessek was at the bridge of the Experiment, listening to the main drive powering up. They were preparing to go to the latest anomaly, a single ship that had somehow come to the galaxy, and wound up just a few parsecs from the humans who had recently inhabited Altera.
He could just reactivate the Recon TIE Phantom that was still in that general area, but he wanted to go there himself.
He turned at the sound of approaching footsteps, and saw Maruk, a zeltron/human hybrid approaching. He was one of the best mechanics in the galaxy-- at least, in their galaxy-- and was the team leader for the maintenance for the Recon TIE Phantoms. And he was holding something, which he presented to Tessek.
"Doctor Hesh, I believe you wanted this?"
Tessek lit up at seeing the lightsaber he'd stolen from one of Tandrex's now deceased minions. "Ah, yes!" he said, as he took the lightsaber, and hit the activation switch. A brilliant red blade shot out of the hilt, and he swung it around a few times experimentally. "Such a fine weapon. Always wanted one of these... I'll have to study it more in-depth later," said Tessek as he shut it off and clipped it to his belt. "Thank you, Maruk." The pinkish man nodded, turned, and walked out of the bridge.
Tessek turned his attention back to the front of the bridge. "Are we ready?"
"Yes, sir, main drive at one-hundred percent power and still running steadily," said Cimrab.
"Excellent. Bring it online. Enter the coordinates for that anomaly."
Another thirty seconds, and the stars changed. There was a strangely-designed ship directly in front of the Star Destroyer, only several hundred meters away from the tip of the massive triangular behemoth of a ship. He chuckled, hoping the sudden appearance of a giant capital ship armed to the teeth wouldn't provoke them or something.
"Get me view from the front-tip cameras," he commanded, turning to a crewman sitting in front of a console. The young human nodded, and on his screen appeared a cruiser, not exactly small, but not nearly as large as the Star Destroyer. It was of a design that he'd never seen before; definitely not of his galaxy or any other being currently in this galaxy that he'd encountered.
"Interesting. Let's see if they speak basic, shall we? Open a channel," he said, turning back to the front viewport. A moment later, and the comm officer nodded. "Broadcasting now, Doctor."
"Greetings. I am Doctor Tessek Hesh, commander of the Star Destroyer Experiment, and you have stumbled into my territory. Would you be so kind as to tell me how, exactly, you arrived here? Don't worry, I'll be on my way soon; I mean you no harm. You are free do to almost whatever you want here." He waited for a response, prepared to broadcast on every other language that was in the ship's database if they didn't speak Basic. He was absolutely delighted that another unknown ship had entered his little game,--and so far wasn't hellbent on destroying everything with a massive fleet-- and yet dismayed that he had absolutely no idea how it got here.

Spartan 159, or Jack, as he preferred, stood next to the smaller, non-spartan human, Captain Drayfor, both staring out into space at the menacing-looking black hole in front of them.
"I don't like it," Drayfor said in his husky voice. He was an older man, in his early fifties, and he was the Captain of the UNSC Destroyer of which they were currently on, the Hope. The Hope was the flagship of the small but powerful task force that was to scout out another galaxy, far, far away. And they were going to get there by doing something that seemed insane: flying straight into a black hole.
But not just any black hole. Researchers, scientists, and all other kinds of eggheads had determined that this one would not actually crush all matter that entered into its event horizon, but would actually send it somewhere else. How they had figured that out, Jack had no idea, but he had his orders.
Those orders were to lead this Task Force of one UNSC Destroyer, one UNSC Frigate, and one Covenant Seperatist Frigate right into that black hole. Leading. It seemed so odd. Spartans were meant to lead a battle from the front lines, not from the bridge of a Destroyer.
He sighed quietly enough that his helmet-- a customized Rogue variant, one not built by the UNSC, but by some private company back on Earth-- didn't pick it up and broadcast it.
"Alright, we've waited here long enough. Signal the other ships; we're moving in."
As they approached the black hole, Jack stood unflinching, staring into the heart of the black hole as the ships plummeted into it's gaping maw.
And then the stars changed. There was no black hole anywhere on the sensors, and there was a planet in front of them.
Nobody said anything for a few seconds, and Jack interrupted the silence. "Alright, get a survey team down on that planet. See if it's inhabitable."
((And here is the bottom of my mini-book post. The End. xD))

Zerana chuckled at the Utiri's defiance. "Well I appreicate the fact that you are willing to defend yourselves, but that tiny fleet of yours doesn;t stand a chance againest our fleet, let alone the Harbinger Empire's current battle fleet n this galaxy or what they have in our realm. As you are few in number, we are here to assist in defending and by spreading information about the Harbingers wherever we can... We apologize for the sudden appearance, but it is necessary."
She keyed off the com and nodded to a officer, who sent a quick message to the supposed location of Fleet Admiral Nalar. Hopefully he'd learn about this new development... soon.
---------------------------------------------------
Within a dark universe on the planet Kurata, the Harbinger Empire's Council was in effect. Deep within a massive bunker beneath the surface, members of the many Clans and Tribes were slowly gathering for the titanic meeting of the new development from the Umbra Clan: the portal had been built and activated, allowing them to spread into new arenas of combat. Also, the Urandi had been rumored to have developed their own as well. Things were moving fast and needed to be resolved quickly before it became crazy...
---------------------------------------------
In the galaxy of chaos, another planet was full of life and unknowingly was about to enter the galactic warfare as well, despite their 'primitive' weapons. Numbering in the millions, humans, elves, dwaves, orcs and many other races were still squabbling amongest them selves, unknowing of the events about to occur above their own planet, Azeroth... As well as the nearby Outlands...
---------------------------------------------
Outside the galaxy, a large battle task force of UNSC and CovSep vessels waited for the signal to enter the black hole that the recon force had entered....
OOC: Ya I was in a rush and this thread is going a little crazy so we may wanna wrap it up soon and just... move it... soon and introduce all the factions properly soon and organize how. A bit tired right now anyways so ya, post is crap. Hahaha!

This thread has become far too cluttered, I think. We'll start posting in individual threads. Archived and Locked.Note: This thread may still serve as a good prologue of sorts, though many parts of it will likely be retconned away.
