"No, you stand down!" Velius shouted, amplifying his voice with the Force. "How dare you come to our homeworld, crash through our jungles in your vehicles, and then you point your pathetic weapons at us and tell us to stand down?! No! You will leave or surrender, or be destroyed!"
Hearing his yelling, three of the red-armored Sith troopers came crashing down through the jungle canopy, ready to start blasting. Velius sent them a message through the Force, telling them to hold their fire. Lord Quen, Lord Molaarl, and their two apprentices also followed his voice, and hacked their way into the small clearing where Velius stood, lightsabers ready to bat anything that was shot at them away. The huge wookiee roared.
"You should also be aware, that, this being our homeworld, that your pathetic little party is horribly outnumbered." As he said this, he sent another message through the Force, giving Lord Parole his cue. Just two seconds later, Velius heard the roar of engines, and then he saw his Dynamic-class freighter materialize above them. The light blue shimmer of the shields winked into existence, and the laser cannons rotated to face the intruders.
"Now stand down, or face the wrath of the Sith!"
~~~~~~~~~~
Tessek considered his words carefully. "Just a few hours ago, this day, I encountered beings similar to you with similar ship types. Because you have not yet fired upon me, I would assume that you are less... aggressive then they are. The others are no doubt here to conquer this galaxy... my galaxy... and I cannot have them interfere with my experiment. So answer me this, are you here to assist them, or to take them back to where they belong?"
~~~~~~~~~~
"Insolent fool!" Valrak shouted at the comm, watching the ship speed away, chased by the fighters, who were hard-pressed to keep up. "Ion batteries, open fire!"
The blue streaks of the ion shots sped away from the capital ships, headed for the Normandy.

Sheperd glanced at his team, then back around the Mako. "Negative! We are sorry to say but we cannot comply with your 'request'! We came here peacefully just to observe and you have threatened us already and chased us down. If all you wish is lethal action, we'll give it!"
He suddenly opened fire, aiming for a group of the red-armored soldiers. The rest of his teams opened fire as well. Both Mako's turrets opened fire, with both the heavy cannons and mini-guns opening fire on the freighter above. The heavy rounds punched through the freighter's shields partially, then the normal rounds peppered the enemy ship's hull heavily, creating several hundred minor punctures into the hull and a few fist-sized holes.
His team also followed his lead. Wrex, Liara, and Kaiden unleashed their biotic abilities, sending a small group of the red-armored soldiers and a blade-wielding Sith flying backward, either hitting trees violently or just going into the brush for a long way, then opened fire with their assault rifles, slaughtering a few more of the normal troopers.
Sheperd threw several grenades, most of them hitting the ground near them and exploding, while one attached itself to a single trooper and detonated, then followed by a burst of gunfire from Sheperd's rifle. He yelled while this was all happening. "Back into the Mako's, we gotta roll!" They had a advantage in special abilities and heavy gear, but as the Sith had said, they were heavily outnumbered and in foreign terrain. They all quickly ran into their respective Mako's while under-fire, laser bolts scoring againest the Mako's and their own kinetic barriers. The moment they were in and doors were sealing, Garrus and Tali kicked in the micro-thrusters, sending them flying up in a way to dodge a large part of the enemy fire as the barriers were collapsing.
The moment they hit the ground, they floored it and sped away. "Joker, get back down here! We need pickup like NOW! Not the best odds down here!" He returned his attention to the sensors, seeing as the still-large group of infantry followed, though bit-by-bit they fell behind. "Tali, Garrus, if that ship appears, unload a few more heavy rounds into it and open fire with the mini-guns again, no respite this time. They're hostile, so don't show any kindness."
-------------------------------------------------
Joker was having the time of his life, despite the situation. As he dodged bolt after bolt of blue fire, he recieved Sheperd's message. "Yes sir! On our way!" He turned about quickly and sped right at the enemy ships trying to catch up. As they headed towards the squadron of fighters coming at them, the Normandy's gunner activated the GARDIAN system. Once on, it opened fire on the enemy fighters. Burning through each of the fighters shields and to it's core, several exploded in a matter of seconds as they flew by.
The captial ships were a differant matter. Joker focused on dodging the enemy fire, mostly avoiding them though occasionally being hit by one. Luckily, in between each hit the barriers recharged and they remained in decent condition. "Prepare the hanger bay for pickup! We need to pick em up and get out QUICKLY!"
As they sped by the enemy vessels and re-entered the atmosphere and headed for the rendezvous point, Joker continued to dodge any incoming fire.
----------------------------
Nalar considered his response for a moment. "Yes, we are less aggressive then our 'cousins', the Harbingers. Were here to stop them mostly, though we may claim one planet here for a outpost. Otherwise, were here to stop the Harbingers from claiming more territory and resources. Now, you tell me: Why do you care if we are here to help them or not? I understand that this is 'your' galaxy, but it is just a galaxy. You could go claim some other one if needed..." He waited, wondering if this being would give him the truth or some lie.

"Actually, we were merely trying to locate two foreign objects," Velius began. "You told us to stand down, pointing your weapons at us first. And you--"
A small flicker in the Force was all the warning Velius got before the leader started shooting.
Velius spun his twin double-bladed sabers around, disintegrating several projectiles that came his way. And they were going fast. He did a flip over another volley that came his way. When he landed, the hostile group was already retreating back into their three-wheelers.
"Opened fire on us first!" Velius shouted, enraged. He glanced back at the rest of the Sith. They too hadn't been expecting the attack. Molaarl's apprentice had been thrown back by... something. Molaarl himself had been hit in the leg, and yet he was charging wildly towards the three-wheelers.
The three-wheelers began floating upwards, and Velius turned to leap to his freighter. He realized it was peppered with holes. His eyes widened.
"You will pay for that..." he muttered.
He leapt up to the ship, and entered through the top hatch. There were holes on the inside, too, though not as much. The outer hull had stopped most of them. He charged to the cockpit, and found Lord Parole nursing a wound on his arm. "What the hell were they shooting at us with?! The shields were useless!"
"I have no idea, but you need to get out. Now." Velius said, motioning towards the small holes in the floor and viewport.
Getting the idea, Parole jumped to his feet, despite being in agonizing pain, and ran down the hall. The computer systems--the ones that weren't destroyed-- showed that the boarding ramp was opened, so he sat down and shot into pursuit of the three-wheelers. And then he noticed Molaarl. He was holding onto one of the three-wheelers.
"Crazy Wookiee..." He muttered.
He pressed his fingers against the triggers and began shooting at the three-wheeler that Molaarl wasn't on with the laser cannons.
"Lord Velius! That freighter is coming back around! It's heading right for you!"
"Destroy it! Disable it! Stop it somehow! We must not let these fools get away!"
~~~~~
"You heard him! Find a way to stop that ship!" Valrak shouted at the crew.
"Sir, we could use the shock nets!"
"No, the ship is too fast for those. Besides, whatever shot down our fighters is probably able to destroy missiles as well."
"We could try an anti-fighter barrage," someone suggested.
Valrak pondered that one. An anti-fighter barrage was a tactic that the OSE's capital ships had used several times to destroy groups of fighters that were engaged in evasive maneuvers; too hard to target and hit by a single turbolaser blast. Every single turbolaser, ion, and laser cannon on a capital ship would target a different spot in space, creating a grid of lasers and ion blasts. Not all of the blasts would hit, but the ships wouldn't be able to dodge every single one. The batteries would fire again and again, each time simultaneously. It had to be very precise, which wasn't hard when every battery operator was Force-Sensitive.
"Very well. Signal the rest of the fleet, and tell them to prepare to fire when the ship comes back into the atmosphere; we can't risk hitting the Sith on the ground directly below the ship."
~~~~~~~~~~
Tessek hesitated before continuing. "Technically, I could go to a different galaxy... But this galaxy contains many ancient... secrets. These secrets, if found by these Harbingers... Well, that would not be very good."

As the Mako's were peppered with fire from the freighter and the useless bangs from the angry Wookie, the teams were slowly but surely preparing for more combat if necessary. Sheperd glanced at the sensors. "Tali, Garrus, take down that ship NOW! Our kinetic barriers are nearly dead!" Both Mako's turrets spun about to aim at the freighter, taking a split second to lock on then fired. Both shot the heavy rounds first, shaking it crazily as its shields were ripped away and shards of metal penetrated the hull more. Then the mini-guns opened fire.
Peppering the hull even more with the rounds, the ship was starting to gain bigger and bigger holes and fires were appearing about it. Suddenly a large bang appeared in the Mako's ceiling that the Wookie was on. "Take down that furry thing!" A side hatch opened and Liara poked her head out. Concentrating, she sent another blast that shot the Wookie off the Mako and flying HARD into a nearby tree. Smiling, she glanced up to see a laser blast coming straight at her. Ducking in quickly, she barely avoided getting her head blown off.
Shutting the hatch again, they focused on evasive maneuvers as they headed for the rendezvous point. "Joker, get here NOW, or there won't be anybody here to retrieve!"
-------------------------------------------------
The Normandy spun in space as it dodged another volley of laser fire, then returned fire with precise laser beams, turning a couple more fighters into balls of fire. Joker was now in a trance, his hands a blur as he worked the controls of the Normandy. "Aye aye Commander. ETA, 45 seconds!"
As he entered the atmosphere, he quickly headed down to the large hill and lowered it down onto it, the hanger bay now open. Then suddenly out of the jungle came the two Mako's, blast marks along the hulls and the turrets firing. As they got closer, the micro-thrusters kicked in, sending them flying up in a curved trajectory into the hanger bay.
"Alright were in, get us out of here!" Joker complied by just taking off, sending the ship flying into space. "Uhhh Commander... I think we got another problem."
---------------------------------------------------
Nalar considered it then nodded. "Alright then, I'll accept your story. Now, how shall we continue from here? What do you want and what can you offer us in return?" He waited patiently for a answer.
-------------------------------------------------
Raz'nora stood at the bridge of the Duron-class destroyer Zuria's Dagger, with several Quentara-class frigates following along behind it. "Three, two, one...." Suddenly a small portal appeared in front of the ships as they accelerated, disappearing into it. Seconds later, they exited out the other end. And what greeted their sight, was a pair of planets and large amount of foreign ships. "Excellant... Battle stations! Ahead full. Battle plan Omega. All fighter and bomber squadrons launch now!"
Slowly the 7 ship fleet formed into a arrowhead formation, with the Zuria's Dagger in front and the rest following along behind it. Squadrons of fighters and bombers, as well as several gunships launched from the hangers of all the ships, flying towards the distant lights of obvious combat. "Quentara Captains, you know your jobs. We'll do ours."
As he got acknowledgements, Raz'nora returned his attention to the situation. As they approached max firing distance, he opened the channel to the fleet. "Quentaras 1 and 2, open fire. 3 and 4, hold for 5 seconds and fire. 5 and 6, hold for 10 seconds and fire. Each pair focus your fire on individual enemy vessels. We'll punch through the center once you have finished your beam assault and begin your long-range bombardment. Close in for the kill when we give you the signal. If necessary, prepare to regroup at the edge of the system, where reinforcements will be waiting."
As the fleet responded, the Dagger sped forward. The Quentaras all aligned with each other, charged their beam projectors, then fired, unleashing a long deadly barrage of solid energy that headed towards the enemy vessels several kilometers away. "This is going to be interesting..." Then the Dagger opened fire with it's own projectors and laser batteries.
-------------------------------------------------------
Nearby above Darkota, the Three stood in a small room in the side of Tandrex's previous ship. Within, they stood about a casket, watching as it slowly but surely floated to a tube. Once in, it shut and sealed. Suddenly a loud THUMP could be heard, and through a viewport they could see the casket of Tandrex speeding out into space, then into hyperspace. They then walked out, heading for their private chambers.

As Velius struggled with the controls and the ship began decelerating, he watched Molaarl get sent flying off of the three-wheeler. Then there was a metallic clang, which Velius knew was Molaarl's liquid cable grapple snagging the hull of the freighter. Velius had to admit he admired the resilience of a determined, angry Wookiee.
But the three-wheelers were getting away; the freighter was too damaged to follow. Kark it, he thought to himself. He stood up, holding himself to the floor with the Force, and ignited his lightsabers. With a quick flurry, he carved a hole in the viewport. He dodged the falling chunk of transparisteel, then leapt out. He grabbed onto one of the wheels of the nearest three-wheeler, and started to haul himself up when he felt something heavy tugging on his leg. He looked down to see Molaarl clinging onto his leg. The Wookiee climbed up Velius like a human ladder, grabbed onto the same handhold he'd had before, but didn't resume pounding. Velius flipped up near the Wookiee, and waited. They were soon inside of the Normandy. He nodded to Molaarl, and they both activated their personal cloaking devices, then hopped off of the three-wheeler.
All of the sudden, Velius could sense something... Very, very dark, and his earpiece comm came to life. "Lord Velius! We have been engaged by an unknown fleet!" Kark. "Engage them!" he whispered. "Activate the Velius if necessary!" "As you wish, Milord." "Valrak... Are the ships of the same design as the Normandy?" "No, Lord Velius. They are unlike anything we've ever seen." "Alright, forget the Normandy, I am onboard with Lord Molaarl. We're going to... do... something. It was a last-second plan." Valrak chuckled. "As you wish, Lord Velius."
~~~~~
"You heard him! Open fire! All batteries destroy that fleet!"
The Iron Assassin shook as it returned fire at the new enemy fleet.
"Launch all fighters and bombers. Have the fighters fly escort while the bombers fire proton torpedoes at their flagship."
Suddenly, there was a green...thing in space. It looked sort of like the red portal the enemy fleet had come out of, but it didn't seem.... dark through the Force. Then a single corvette-sized ship came out, guns and missiles blazing. It was rapidly firing yellow-glowing... things. They definitely weren't lasers. And then it was firing blue streaks of continuous light. Missiles were launched from somewhere ontop of it. But it wasn't firing at the Sith fleet. It was firing at the other fleet. "Contact, contact!" a sensor officer shouted. "Sir, the new ship has opened a channel."
"Put them through."
"This is Colonel Aaron Garret of the USS Redundant, we are here to assist."
~~~~~
"Much appreciated, Colonel." came a response.
"Sir, they cut the channel..."
"Guess they're not a talkative bunch," Aaron said. "Launch 302 squadrons."
~~~~~
Verelor's shuttle finally dropped out of hyperspace over Olaria-- it was wonderful to be home-- but right in the middle of a battle. A battle?! she thought. Yes, it was a battle. Quite a large one. The Olarian Sith fleet was being engaged by a fleet of which the crews' Force presences seemed very dark. And there were two more ships, much smaller then the rest. One was flying right through the Olarian fleet undisturbed, and Verelor could feel her Master onboard that ship, along with Molaarl, the Wookiee Sith Lord. The other ship, however, was putting up one huge fight, especially for one so small, launching missiles and all sorts of weapons at the fleet attacking the Olarian Sith. Just as she came out of hyperspace, it launched several fighters.
All of the sudden, behind the Olarian Fleet, the Velius slowly drifted away from the orbital shipyards. It continued drifting for a few seconds, and then with a shudder, the engines came online, and it advanced.
Verelor watched in awe as it opened fire on the capital ship of the enemy fleet, all weapon batteries blazing. Most of the weapons were experimental, Verelor knew, but they were still effective. The turbolasers rained green fire on the enemy flagship, the ion and EMP cannons pounded against their shields, the plasma cannons ripped through the hull, but the superlaser stayed quiet, though Verelor knew they were preparing it...
She looked around. There had to be a way to get this ship under her control. She was a sitting Hutt here. But the Tandrex-look-alikes most likely had stripped the ship of any weapons, so it would be useless anyways.
"Well... It's not my ship..." she said to herself. She pulled the mask of her bodysuit which she wore under her cloak over her head, and made sure it was sealed. She bit onto the built-in rebreather, and pulled out her lightsaber and ignited it.
"You're probably listening... If you are, I need a way out of this ship now, or at least controls, or I'm making a new door in your viewport."
Sheperd and his teams all sat quietly for a moment before sighing in relief, as Joker didn't continue. They then stood and filed out of the Mako's. "Alright. Not the best drop-off but it'll have to do... At least we gained a little info on these new beings... Seems like they're mostly human, have laser weaponry of advanced build, and are large in numbers. Along with those beings with powers similar to biotics, they seem to be pretty deadly... Good thing they didn't use those laser swords on us... Not yet at least." They then fell out, with Sheperd and Liara heading to the upper levels, Garrus and Wrex heading for the weapon lockers to the side of the hanger, and Tali heading for the reactor/FTL drive room. Sheperd wrapped his armor about Liara's waist, smiling back at her as they headed to the upper decks to check up on things and to change once everything was secure. -------------------------------------------------------------- Raz'nora felt his ship shudder violently under his feet. The Dagger was holding up well under this much fire, but it wasn't in-destructible. Turning his head to glance at one of his officers, he nodded. The officer, a younger lieutenant, saluted in reply then shouted. "Call in the 6th Invasion Fleet!" A cheer went up with that shout, as the communications officer sent the signal. About 20 seconds later, several more of the red portals opened up. And out came a small armada. Around two dozen vessels came through all the portals, including several more Duron-class Destroyers, a dozen Quentara's, and several Drautor-class Invasion Cruisers, all still for a half-second before turning and spreading out, heading for the Sith Fleet. In seconds, the space was alight with volley upon volley of blue and violet laser fire, as well as the red and green of the Sith. Blue beam lasers smashed into shields, missiles flew, lasers soared, and fighters and bombers roared as the battle raged on. "Battle Plan Beta. I want ships to focus on damaging the enemy, not destroying them. Keep the Duron's moving at all times, Quentara's stay still and focus on particle beam barrages, and Drautor's focus on missile barrages. Duron's, I want them to set off a volley at once from their MAC's, then to get up close and personal with the enemy. Use their large arsenal to affectiveness to broadside those bastards till their ships snap. And have the fighters, gunships and min-corvettes deal with that small ship. Move it!"The fleet formed into three smaller groups, all a mix of ships. The Duron's all opened fire with their Super and mini MACs, then propelled themselves forward towards the enemy fleet, using micro-thrusters to dodge suddenly to the left or right or up or down to dodge potentially dangerous attacks. The Quentara's and Drautor's formed into a spread out bubble, raining particle beams, missiles, and plasma-laser fire at the enemy fleet, careful to avoid hitting the Duron's. The several hundred fighters, bombers, and gunships all shot forward, mixing in with the enemy squadrons, vessels and even the distant shipyard, creating a massive battlefield-wide dogfight. Also, several squadrons and mini-corvettes sped after the Redundant, attempting to make it retreat or blast it out of the sky. He watched as his fleet acted. He knew he'd have to hold back his own super-carrier. It wasn't fully ready for combat, and he didn't want to lose his precious ship in it's first attack. He grinned, waiting to see what his new opponents were going to do next. OOC: If Velius and his Wookie friend do anything REALLY bad, like kill a crew member (mainly the main NPC's, but even normal crew as theres only freakin 30 TOTAL, including Sheperd and the main NPC's) or try to sabotage the Normandy, Im going to be pissed, and may need to stop it... just so ya know haha. I was hoping the RP between the Sithy's and Normandy crew would be longer but seems like they gotta run for now... So untill later on that part. Oh and so Velius and his buddy know... theres not a single ship on the Normandy, so unless they can survive in space for long enough, in the middle of that titanic battle, they best get out before the Normandy goes to FTL speeds.
Tessek considered his answer. "I suppose in return for eliminating the Harbingers, I can give you access to the secrets of this galaxy, provided you do not... abuse them. And, of course, an outpost or two. Perhaps--"
Tessek stopped as the onboard dialing device suddenly started glowing. Someone had activated the gate on the surface. Then his headset comm crackled to life. "Doctor Hesh, come in."
"One moment," Tessek said on the channel to the Dark Aliens, then swapping the main comm to the Showa Outpost. "What?"
"We've received some readings from the gate closest to Olaria... Sir, the Dark Beings are there. They're battling the Sith as we speak, and they're greatly outnumbered. They even brought the Velius into the battle, but they're still outnumbered. And outgunned."
"The Fools! They're going to ruin my experiment!" Tessek yelled. He stood up and paced around the Gateship, thinking. "Is the Experiment ready?"
"No, doctor. They're still recharging the Teleport Drive, and repairing some hull damage."
"Hmm.... Very well, I have another idea. Doctor Hesh out."
As the symbols on the dialing device stopped glowing, he swapped channels again. "Forgive the interruption, but I have something else to offer you. How soon can your fleet be prepared for battle?"
~~~~~~~~~~
Velius followed the beings who exited the three-wheeler, making note of every word and action they said and did. The leader apparently had... affection for the female. That could be useful. 'Powers similar to biotics'? 'Biotics' must be that Force-like power that had thrown Molaarl's apprentice back. He'd have to find out more about that.
Velius tapped the air behind him, hitting something furry and invisible. Molaarl growled quietly. "Sorry," Velius whispered. "Follow them, the alien and that... droid-like being. I'll take the lovebirds. Do not do anything foolish, like ripping someone's arms off. We need to rely on stealth here."
As the Wookiee's Force Presence silently moved away, Velius headed off after the leader and his girlfriend.
~~~~~~~~~~
"More of them?! We're outnumbered! Get that superlaser operational Now!"
"It's ready, Milord! May I remind you, though, that the conductive matrix--"
"In Basic, please."
"Right. We don't know how much power the superlaser can emit yet, since this would be it's first live-fire test. Meaning we shouldn't target one of the larger ships. It could cause the reactor to go supercritical..."
Valrak stared down at him.
"Right... It could overload the reactor, destroying the superlaser, and possibly the entire ship."
"Bah. Fine, target one of those smaller ships, and fire at will."
~~~~~
The superlaser cannon of the Velius began to glow green, and then red as the cannon became heated. And then a huge beam of red light came bursting out of it, striking one of the smaller enemy ships. The ship only lasted a nanosecond before the entire thing exploded. Thirty seconds passed, and it fired again, destroying another of the smaller ships. Another thirty seconds, and it fired a final time, destroying a third ship in the blink of an eye.
~~~~~
"Why did you stop? It was going perfectly!"
"The reactor core has overheated, Milord, cooldown time should be about... five minutes."
"Bah. Tell me the moment it's ready to fire again."
Raz'nora growled angrily as he watched two Quentara's and a Drautor blew apart as the super-laser hit them one by one. Eyeing the enemy super-ship, he growled out a order. "All Quentara's and Drautors, focus fire on individual ships. Fighters, bombers and gunships, head for the shipyards and that super-ship, focus on them. Duron's, I want them focusing their fire both the super-ship and individual vessels. Damage or destroy as many as possible. Damage those shipyards too." He watched the enemy fleet carefully, watching their tactics, weapons, etc, while evaluating the situation. Unless something all of a sudden happened, they were going to win. And they would crush these weaklings...
About the battlefield, the fleet continued firing. The Duron's were flying in-between the enemy vessels, firing plasma-laser batteries in a endless barrage, missiles flew from large pods, MAC's blew fire, and particle beams burned through space. The Quentara's and Drautor's continued to barrage the enemy vessels from long-range, with their own missiles, particle beams and MAC's.
Suddenly, a pincer-looking vessel of the Sith's exploded violently as a Duron's barrage blew through what was left of it's hull, penetrating to the reactor core and detonating that. Following that came a corvette which got caught in the path of a Super MAC round, splitting it in half like a branch. And also, he saw the shipyard's shields taking a beating, nearly close to being beaten down. Raz'nora continued to grin, watching the continuous battle in satisfaction.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Nalar blinked, taking a few seconds to reply. "I could have a small fleet ready in about 10 or 15 minutes. I could have a invasion fleet ready in about 2 or 3 hours... I could have a strike team ready in minutes.... What do you need?" He quivered with anticipation, understanding where this was going before the scientist had even suggested it. A slow smile appeared on his face beneath his battle-helm.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Sheperd and Liara headed towards the elevator, quickly stepping into its little space and setting ti to head for the upper levels. Pulling off their helmuts, they hugged each other tightly, relieved that combat was over. "That was a bit closer then I would have liked... Remind me to find out how the hell those guys knew we were coming..." Liara chuckled into his shoulder, pulling away a couple seconds later to smile at him before turning to the opening elevator door.
Heading out, they went up one of the side stairways to the bridge, then headed down the ramp towards the cockpit where Joker sat. "Alright, whats the situation?" Joker went on into a whole report on what had happened and what was happening, while Liara and Sheperd both listened to him quietly, paying half their attention to him while the other half watched the combat sensors.
"Currently," Tessek said, "there is a battle going on between a group known as the Sith and your Harbingers, in orbit around the Sith's homeplanet. The Harbingers are winning; the Sith were caught off-guard and with most of their fleet in another galaxy. I have the coordinates of said planet... If we act now, we can still save the Sith's fleet from being decimated."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Fine, maybe you don't have a listening device in here. Oh well."
Verelor stabbed her lightsaber into the viewport of the shuttle, and carved a hole in it. As it burst out into space, the air in the ship following it, she braced herself against the pilot's chair to prevent her from being sucked out too.
After the wind subsided, she walked to the back of the shuttle, and ran towards the viewport, and leapt out.
Now in zero gravity, she floated around, fighting the urge to flail her limbs around uselessly. It would do no good.
Using the Force, she pushed herself forward, now floating towards the battle. But what was she going to do when she got there?
She saw the ship that Velius' presence was on, and it was moving in her direction. She pushed herself into an intercept course...
~~~~~
Velius sensed that Verelor had returned, but he couldn't focus on that right now.
He had followed the couple through the ship, even in the elevator, and now stood on what he assumed was the bridge, and the pilot was droning on with a report. He decided now was as good a time as any to get some answers. He pulled his lightsaber off of his belt, and crept up behind the female. In a flash of movement that was so fast his cloaking generator stopped working milliseconds even before his lightsaber was ignited, he had grabbed the female from behind, ignited the lightsaber and held it with the blade almost touching her throat, and then pressed his back against the nearest corner. "It's called the Force, if you must know," he snarled at the leader. "Everyone put any weapons down. If you so much as twitch doing anything else, her throat will be cut before you'll even have the chance to kill me. Believe me. Pilot, keep going wherever the kriff you're going. Now I'm going to get some answers. Who are you, and why did you attack us?" He turned back towards the leader, who he could sense an incredible amount of anger building up within. "And don't give me that 'you attacked us first,' because you opened fire on us on our land. My killing all of you would be a perfectly reasonable response to such an act of war."
~~~~~
Valrak flinched as one of the yet unnamed Interdictors exploded. "I need that superlaser back online!"
"Almost there, Milord..."

Nalar snarled angrily, his hands clenching into fists. "Alright... We'll assist you and these so-called 'Sith', in return for payment. Whether it be these 'secrets' or new technology, or something, we demand it. Now I shall prepare the fleet. Give us the cooridinates." He turned, shutting off the channel. "Assemble the fleet. Send in a message pod through the portal to call up a battle fleet, I don't care which one. We need to start gathering a armada if possible. The Harbingers are already here and strong... we can't let them take this galaxy. Move it!"
He turned to watch as his fleet slowly formed into a organized formation, readying itself for a portal jump. He was getting anxious. It had been too long sense he had fought the Harbingers, and personally, he hoped that it was Raz'nora who led. He'd love to fight that bastard one on one... "Sir, fleet ready." "Fire up the generators. Launch now!" He watched as a portal formed in front of them, bright blue lightning of every shade of blue shot everywhere. "Fleet, launch! Battle stations! Lets give a good fight guys, were going to be meeting our cousins the Harbingers!" A cheer was yelled throughout the ships of the fleet and bridge of his vessel, as the fleet sped to incredible speeds through the portal, which closed behind them.
----------------------------------------------------------
Sheperd froze, as did his whole crew except Joker who was now extremely nervous. Sheperd and Liara being the only ones armed, they dropped their assault rifles, which folded up on the floor into their stand-by modes. Sheperd thought fast, then replied slowly. "You all were aiming directly at us and seemed hostile. I didn't want to take a chance with the risk of my crew... We are the only ship in this d**ned galaxy and a small one at that. Were a little on edge after having nearly been annialated by giant AI robots in our galaxy... So I apologize. We tried to not have any casualties, as you can obviously see... From my count, we didn't kill anyone. We did wound about 5 or 6 though before retreating into our Mako's..."
Eyeing Velius, he considered his next words. "Again I apologize... Despite the fact that it sounds weak, thats the best I can sya at this moment till you let her go." He was angry, but trying to keep calm in this situation. He looked into Liara's eyes, both scared but they remained calm. He slowly took a step forward, hands forward to show he wasn't armed. "Would you let her go... If we have to, we can try to fix what went on down there--"
Suddenly the ship shuddered, with nearly everyone standing falling over. Sheperd gripped Joker's pilot seat to stop from falling, before glancing at the combat sensors. "What the hell just happened?" "Sir, we just been hit by a laser blast. Nothing serious, but it was a big one that nearly penetrated the kinetic barriers." "Get us out of this d**n battlefield Joker, or were not gonna last much longer..."
Turning back to Velius, he waited for a response.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Raz'nora watched as several enemy fighters were incinerated by a particle beam. Grinning with delight, he turned at the angry shout of his sensor officer. "Sir! Portal signal detected, and out of it are coming Urandi vessels!" Growling with anger, Raz'nora turned to watch the new enemy vessels come out of the blue portal. "Call off the attack, turn to face the Urandi fleet. Quickly!" The words were barely out of his mouth before the enemy fleet opened fire.
MAC's, particle beams, missiles, and plasma-lasers flew through space towards them. In less then a minute a couple Quentara's were down, shattered to a million pieces and fire, and a Drautor was broken in half. Snarling, Raz'nora could see one unique ship among the enemy fleet, even at this distance. "Zoom in on that Duron. NOW!" A zoomed-up image appeared, showing the modified Duron-class Destroyer. "Its Nalar. Get ready for boarding! I want a team of Avengers with me and a pair of Duron-Knights. Arm and get ready to launch a pair of gunships and a squadron of fighters. Were going to board that enemy ship." He turned and ran down the corridors towards the turbo-lifts towards the hangers.
OOC: Ummm I know it said that a few were killed I think in my previous post, lets pretend they aimed for legs and such... No deaths though a few crippled guys... Heh... Uhh... Ya. If Velius is gonna get violent though, I got back-up plan from Urandi... or Harbingers even... Anyways. O.o

As the laser blast hit the ship, causing it to shake, Velius held himself and his hostage in place with the Force. He actually had to suppress a laugh at the pilot's comment of 'It almost took out our kinetic barriers, but it's not too serious.'
"Very well," Velius said carefully after a few moments, then shut down his lightsaber and let the female go. He kept the hilt in his hand, just in case they tried anything now that he had no bargaining chip.
He then remembered Verelor. He reached out with the Force, and felt her approaching. Slowly. She wasn't in a ship.
"Tell me, these 'kinetic barriers'... what would they do to something solid, such as a human?"
Before the man could reply, Velius' head snapped around to face the viewport. More ships were arriving, and engaging the enemy armada. They too felt Dark. "There are more ships here now, we don't have to worry about getting blasted out of the sky."
~~~~~
The Redundant nimbly weaved its way through the battle, firing upon the enemy ships. It was not easy, as the sensors were having a hard time determining the green ships from the red ships; they were almost exactly of the same design. The F-302's flew around it in a defensive pattern, blasting enemy fighters with their missiles and railguns, though only a few missiles found their mark, as they kept getting destroyed by some anti-missile system.
The Redundant itself was dealing much more damage then its fighters. The 32 railgun emplacements were all firing upon the fighters, while the Asgard Plasma Beam weapons were focusing on the larger enemy ships...
~~~
Aaron pointed out of the front window to a moderately-sized ship. "Focus all firepower on that vessel," he commanded.
"Aye, sir, focusing all fire on that ship."
The plasma beam weapons shot out blue streaks of plasma energy. After only three, the shields of the enemy craft went down. The fourth blew the ship to pieces.
"Same strategy on that one."
"Yes sir."
((Okay, not as good as I'd've hoped, but, meh...))

Sheperd sighed in relief, taking a step forward to hold Liara for a moment. He then released her and turned to Velius, eyeing him carefully. "It wouldn't stop that... Kinetic barriers stop fast-moving objects such as those lasers of yours and projectiles... Slow moving objects that don't pose threats such as that would let it through... Why?"
-------------------------------------------------------
Nalar watched with glee as several Harbinger vessels exploded into flames. "Continue firing! Were going to destroy every single one of those Harbingers untill they decide to leave!" As he sat back, the sensor officer said loudly. "Sir, incoming fighter craft and gunships!"
Nalar sat up rigid once more, leaning forward. "Its Raz'nora! Its got to be. Prepare for boarding!" He stood and ran down to the blast doors, waited for them to open then ran down to the corridors near the hanger bay. "I want 3 squads patrolling around the hanger bays, one with me. Were going to repel those boarders and teach Raz'nora a lesson!"
As he ran, a squad formed up on him. They continued till they reached a corridor near the hanger bay and waited.
-------------------------------------------------
The gunship shook as they sped towards the Duron's main hanger bay. Raz'nora checked his rifle, pistol, grenades and other gear, as well as his sword. He then turned towards his Avengers and the fello pair of Duron-Knights. "We board and kill as many as possible. Look for Nalar if possible. Take him down if you can. If you can't, plant charges where you can, as well as killing crew."
Turning to the opening hatch as they landed, they all ran out and spread about, rifles at the ready. Seeing a few hanger members running for cover, they opened fire. Violet lasers flew everywhere for a moment, then several charred bodies hit the ground. Raz'nora motioned towards the hanger bay doors and ran to them, his squad following him. Several other squads ran out of the gunships just as the hanger defense turrets turned to meet them.
As it opened fire and killed a pair of Avengers, they returned fire, turning the turrets into mangled metal husks. Spreading out, the squads waited at the two different blast doors. Raz'nora waited as they planted charges, then nodded. Everyone turned as the demolition specialists activated the charges, blowing the doors inward. "MOVE IT!!"
All four squads rushed inward, opening fire on the awaiting, yet disorganized crew. In seconds, a whole squad of Urandi lay dead. "Keep moving in! Plant charges as you go. When given the signal, get back to the gunships!" Among the "Yes sirs", he focused on the single squad who was behind cover in a corridor. And in that squad, Nalar waited. "Avengers, continue firing! You two, on me!" Pointing to the Duron-Knights, they charged the squad, all three swords out and ready to butcher and kill.
-----------------------------------
Nalar watched as his hated enemy Raz'nora and a pair of Duron-Knights charged, before ducking back down under cover. "Retreat! Fall back now!!!" Too late to do so, the trio were on them. Swords slashed, lasers burst, and panic spread. As he and his squad retreated, they were shot down while running. Growling in anger, Nalar ran for the bridge, knowing most of that squad was dead. "This was too big of a waste. I'm getting too reckless for this kind of combat..."
OOC: Uhhhh if you want to do something dramatic or whatever now Bobert, go ahead. Hahaha!

((Heh, dramatic, I can do that...))
Tessek waited until the Harbingers had slaughtered their way through the hangar, and then the leader took two sword-wielding soldiers deeper into the ship, leaving a whole bunch of troopers in the hangar. The gunship was also there. "A present? For me? Why, you shouldn't have."
Tessek's tentacles flailed wildly as he brought the cloaked Gateship's weapons online. Gateships had weapons known as Drone Weapons. They were extremely powerful; if they hit the right place, just one or two could take down a capital ship. Gateships had twelve.
The Gateship decloaked, at the same time firing four drones. The two from the right engine pod of the ship took out the Harbinger's gunship, while the other two careened towards the group of Harbinger soldiers, exploding when they impacted the floor.
Tessek recloaked the ship then ran to the back. He punched the button to open the rear hatch, then leapt out and ran down the hallway the Harbinger leader had just went down.
~~~~~~~~~~
"He is here," Darth Malosis said. "I can feel him near. He is faint, weak. He is barely alive..."
"He was not supposed to be so. He was to be strong when he arrived," said Darth Setius.
"No, he is strong. It is his body that is weak. We are proof that a body is nothing but a vessel. We can use this; if we rebuild his body he will become our tool further."
The other two Spirits nodded in agreement with their Master.
"Awake the recovery team," said the Master. "Give them a few hours to rid themselves of the aftereffects of carbonite, then dispatch them to recover our future Apprentice."
"As you wish, Milord."
~~~~~
The hours passed, and finally, the recovery team brought the casket down from space. The hours that had passed meant little to the Master, however. He had waited for sixteen-thousand years; three more hours were nothing.
The Master walked down the staircase into the hangar of the temple just as the ancient craft settled to the ground. The two pilots got out and bowed to the Master, though a bit groggily. A third figure in Sith Warrior armor pulled a repulsorlift-aided casket out of the back, and likewise bowed. The Master walked towards the casket, and then pried it open with the Force. Inside was a mirror of himself; a cloaked figure with no apparent face. Many Sith past and present had hidden their faces from their enemies. Not having a face was very intimidating.
The Master raised his hands towards the ceiling, and then blue-white lightning arced from his hands and then into the body of the near-dead Sith. Life was returning to the corpse. As he pumped life into the body, he reached into the mind of the Sith and pulled out his name.
When he sensed he had done enough, the Master stopped. Then the body moved.
"Vexok... savaka... Tandrex."
((Vexok savaka means 'Wake up, there is work to do' in the ancient Sith language. ;D ))

Raz'nora ran down the corridor, along with the Duron-Knights, slicing and fightng as they went. It felt good to be in combat once again. By now they had slaughtered about 4 squads of Urandi, losing only a squad as casualties in return. Slicing down another crew member, he turned to see a black-dressed figure charging at them. A strange looking one at that too. "Incoming!" Bringing up his sword, he charged straight at it, while the knights circled about, ready to assist if needed.
---------------------------------------------
The corpse layed still for a moment before it finally twitched, then moved the slightest. Tandrex could feel again. He hadn't expected to ever feel again, after what he had told the Three to do... He tried to open his eyes and get up, finding it hard to do so. Finally a crack of light got in and he could see, if barely. His eyes slowly opened and he began to sit up, looking at the figure who had obviously saved him.
As he sat up, his cloak fell backward. A human face greeted their sight, his hair being short, the color of gray and silver. His eyes were red and yellow, like most Sith's were after so long. He blinked several times, before looking at the Master. "I am awake... What does the Sith require of one once dead?"
OOC: Lame.... but want to just continue this.

"Ruin my experiment, will you?!" Tessek yelled as his blade clashed with the Harbinger leader's. "I'll teach you!"
He slashed with his sword, but was blocked by the Harbinger's, who followed with another attack, which Tessek likewise blocked. As he brought down his blade again, he let go with his left hand, and pulled out one of his blaster pistols, which he used to send a flurry of blue energy at one of the Harbingers circling the melee. If he was going to take down one Harbinger, he was going to take them all.
~~~~~~~~~~
The Master paced as he spoke. "As according to our most ancient of prophecies, a great Darkness has cast its shadow on this Universe. It seeks to conquer everything; everyone. They will stop at nothing. Only a united front will stand against them..."
((meh))
