Independent Orbital Stargate Filia is a mountainous planet. Snow covers the tops of the mountain ranges that stretch over the entire planet, while at the bottom of the ranges sit pine forests. The people of Filia appear to be human but for one distinction: They have powerful wings that allow them to fly, and are even capable of surviving in the vacuum of space for several hours. Some of the strongest and most curious fly up into orbit to find the mythical Stargate and travel to other worlds.
