Planetary Stargate
Arman is a unique planet, if it could even be called a planet. It has no land at all-- it is just a giant orb of water with a thin atmosphere above it, kept in place by its own gravity. Many of the aquatic natives are sentient, and a special chemical in the water makes anything hidden beneath the waves invisible to sensors. The Stargate is kept from sinking too deep by anti-grav lifts, though it floats freely several meters underwater.

Orbital Stargate
A white, snowy planet with a jungle at the south pole, Ada is considered a world of high contrast. The south pole jungles, kept heated and shielded from the cold by a volcanic ring surrounding it, are hot and humid, while outside the ring, it is frigid and dry. The people of Ada live in the jungle, though outcasts are sent outside the ring. The people are unaware of the rest of the galaxy.

Appearing orange from space, Quito is a planet with large oceans, gentle rolling hills covered with plantlife, and a toxic atmosphere that gives the planet its' color.

Radek

Planetary Stargate
Radek is a planet very close to it's sun, a blue giant. Because of it's close proximity to the sun, the planet's surface is superheated, making it uninhabitable. However, there are thousands of tunnels making a complex tunnel system underground. At the core of the planet is a huge cavern where most of the planet's few thousand human inhabitants live. The Stargate is in that cavern, though the locals do not know how to use it.

Class 2 Black Hole - Vegrandis Center
Black Hole
The center of the Vegrandis Galaxy, a class two black hole. It is constantly competing with the Altera galaxy's more powerful Class 1 Black Hole for planets. Every few thousand years, a planet slips out of the Altera galaxy and is sucked into orbit around the Vegrandis galaxy.

Showa

Altera Alliance Showa Outpost
Showa is a rocky planet submerged beneath a constantly-stormy ocean, orbiting the Class 2 black hole at the center of the Vegrandis Galaxy. It is home to the Showa Outpost, where the Ancients, Forerunners, and Protheans basically dumped all their technology into one database, in a large, domed underwater city. There is a ship building facility a kilometer away from the city, also underwater, but protected from the crushing weight of the ocean by a powerful Ancient shield. Doctor Tessek Hesh has set up his base of operations at the outpost, and docks his modified Recon Star Destroyer, the Experiment, at the Ship building facility.

Hera

Planetary Stargate
Hera, in contrast to most other Vegrandis Galaxy worlds, is a huge barren desert planet, with no plant or animal life whatsoever on the surface, and extremely high gravity. However, at the planetary core, it is believed there is some sort of life form, but nobody has bothered to dig their way through miles of sand to find out.

Komori

Planetary Stargate
Komori is a planet dominated by huge mountain ranges and large oceans surrounding them. Many huge skyscrapers poke out of the mountains and even the ocean itself, built by the amphibious Komori, blue-skinned humanoids that have allied themselves with Tessek Hesh, exchanging advanced technology with each other. With Hesh's help, the Komori have upgraded their sublight-capable spacecraft to be hyperspace-capable.
