Planet Name: Machinima Planet Type: Ice world Star System: Has two suns, a large sun made entirely out of plasma and a very small sun made of helium, hydrogen, and nitrogen that orbits the planet itself. The planet is so far away from the large sun that without the small sun the planet would not be able to sustain life. The avg. degree is 51 degrees F on the equator and -236 degrees F near the polar caps. Habitable: Yes (barely) Galactic Coordinates: 49x67
Sentient Species: None Notable Non-sentient Species: Bacteria
Capital City: None Major Cities: None
Terrain type(s): Mountainous Points of Interest: Several remains of an unknown races well as structures in the ice.
History: The avg. degree is 51 degrees F on the equator and -236 degrees F near the polar caps. The larger sun is made entirely out of plasma which should not be possible. There is strange gravity on the planet. From its size it should be 4.67 G's but instead its .96 G's. This is caused by strange energy signatures in the planet. in some places there is even less gravity going as low as .41 G's and there will be floating rocks and ice bergs and snow will be stuck in mid air. There are old ruins on the surface made of marble and crystals and reported signatures in the ice indicating that there are advanced facilities deep in the ice that are causing the gravitational problems. The planet was teleported to this solar system by the race that built the ruins and they infused the sun with plasma. But, there was an error and the planet reappeared too far away and it froze, until the race teleported a gas giant and lit it on fire. The planet use to orbit the sun until after a few hundred years it has shrunken to where it orbits the planet.

Hmm... First off, I'm not sure if it's possible for a sun to orbit a planet. I guess if the star was really small, and the planet was really big... And the planet is big enough to have about four and a half Earths stuck in it, but with the warped gravity, the star wouldn't really be able to orbit it. Have you seen what size our sun is? It's supposed to be a really small star, and you could fit like a billion Earths in it. And, anyways, if a star was small enough to orbit a planet, it wouldn't last very long before it burned out, or, worse, imploded. Also, there would have to be some sort of other force keeping the plasma sun together. Most suns are self-powered by their own gasses, like the ones in the small sun, and not made entirely out of plasma. I guess that maybe if it was big enough, its own gravity would keep the plasma from dissipating... maybe. But it would still have to have some sort of power source. Eventually, the plasma would just sort of burn out. And if the planet is four times as big as Earth, being that far away from the big star would probably be difficult for the star to keep its gravitational hold on the planet. It would probably careen off course eventually. Something that far away would have to be, like, Pluto-sized. Next, the ancient ruins buried in the ice. What kind of ruins are they? Simple stone and wood huts that would point to a primitive race, or advanced metal buildings that could have only been created by a vastly powerful ancient race? If it's a super powerful ancient race, I suppose that could account for the bizarre gravity. And maybe the smaller sun orbiting the planet could be some sort of artificial singularity built by said race. And maybe they could have even created the plasma sun. The singularity would probably have to have some sort of local power source, maybe some power generator in the core of the planet that also has the side effect of screwing up the planet's gravity? Next, and probably least important, the name. Machiminia. There's nothing technically wrong with it, but I would've picked something that sounded more... icy. And... planet-namey. I wouldn't have picked a word that means 'Movie made from a video game' Still, if you really want to keep the name, I suppose it would be alright...

About the ruins. On the surface, it was buildings made of crystals, marble and limestone (probably) should have mentioned that. but under ground it was advanced technology causing gravitational glitches. and at first the planet orbited the sun but now the sun shrank so small the planet has more gravitational force. by the way, I'll let you in on something, the planet was transported to that solar system by the race. and then they filled the large sun with plasma so it wouldn't collapse for a long time to sustain it. but there was an error and the planet appeared to far away from the sun and began to freeze. So they opened up another portal and sent a gas giant to the planet and lit it on fire, but now the mini sun has only got a hundred years left of fuel, give or take.
i got the name while i was playing sins of a solar empire. i had just taken an ice world and the auto namer named it Machinima. and i thought that named sounded nice, and the planet is kind of a machine. So i stuck an A at the end and got Machinima
There is no realistic thing about the planet. lets just say its a "synthetic" planet (figure of speech, it is made of Organic material)

Yeah, all of that should be mentioned in the history. Even things that other people wouldn't know. There are no unknowns. The characters might not know, but the players should.
EDIT: Also, I'm not sure how the sun would shrink. Not to be that small, anyways. They usually implode into a black hole when they get to about the size of a planet if they're shrinking like that.

Its a gas giant on fire. Gas giants that have been anti terra-formed into suns don't have enough energy to form into black holes.
There is a show called the planets, watch it and you will learn quite a lot.
is it approved?

Maybe not, but they can still go out.
If it is a gas giant, then it would probably be bigger then a planet that, without the gravity fluctuations, should have 4Gs. Maybe if it was a gas... uh, I dunno, Gas Mini?

as it burns, it's using up fuel, eventually it shrinks.
by the way its 4.67 G. (4 1/2 i guess)

Right, but that still wouldn't really be enough for a Gas Giant to orbit it. Gas Giants are huge, way bigger then anything 4 times the size of Earth. And, since the planet has the weird gravity, that would probably make its mass nearly the same as Earth's, so it would be it would be like trying to get Jupiter to orbit Earth.

Your right.
It use to orbit the gas giant. Until the gas giant finally shrunk enough to orbit the planet.
is it finally approved?

Almost. These last things may seem trivial, but they're important nonetheless. Capitalization. And grammar. Just copy it into something like Microsoft Word, it should help alot. Also, the :'s should be treated like periods, and the first letter after that should be capitalized, like 'Planet Type: Ice world'. Comprendo?

Well, it ain't that hard to get learned. Alls I did was basically read a few thousand novels. xD No, I'm not even kidding about the number.

Ya, I'm very picky with mah books. I do like the warriors and the halo series though. As well as a wow book or two.
Thanks for approval!
